Regina in Aeturnum: A Shingetsutan Tsukihime AMV

Here's a second AMV, this time the anime title used is Lunar Legend Tsukihime, which was the first vampire specific series or movie I ever watched.  I happen to really like this show... it was the first anime I ever rewatched in one session, and I've experienced it several times.

I incorporated Suigintou from Rozen Maiden as a personification of the moonlight and played around with the monster romance by emphasizing their 'consuming' love.

One of the core ideas behind where this ended up was the idea of finding your kindred spirit.  This approach is taken from the perspective of lonely monsters with hidden darksides finding someone who in normal terms wouldn't be a proper soulmate... but in terms of being monsters... they form a connection in the carnage.

This AMV started as an actioneer set to Protectors of Earth by Two Steps from Hell... it took about 4 hours before I nixed the music and tested the footage against Dark Waltz and a few other unused songs to set about doing something less epic and more slow moving.

I've avoided fast editing amv's so far for two reasons...
1. I like the songs I pick and they encourage slower beats.
2. Windows Movie Maker seems to dislike frequent fast clip changes... which has caused me some grief.  I've found the program to be almost unworkable after filling it up to the 5 minute mark.

I've set this to Hayley Westenra's Dark Waltz and the whole video took about 12 hours to complete.
